I participated in the MLK Broadcast Dismantling Racism Part 3 – The Future, and I was truly changed just by being there. It led me into a new world of giving and learning and acting, and has had me thinking a lot more lately about what I can do to be the change I’d like to see in the world. Being on that panel also gave me strength, in hearing my own voice and knowing that I carry the wisdom of my elders with me; that was revolutionary for me and my self-image. I know now that I have the power to change the world, just as each and every one of us does, and that I can be persistent about change in order to inspire others to do the same.
