Pacha was a little girl with big dreams. She dreamed of a world that works for all living things on this Earth. On the Main Stage at the Nature Festival, she said, “Our Earth! It’s changing! We must do our part and give back to the planet. Let’s plant a billion trees!”
Children at the Pineridge after-school program in Gainesville, Florida did their part. They read Pacha’s Pajamas, learned about the trees in their neighborhood with Project Learning Tree, and planted four trees with help from the City Arborist.
Let’s talk with the City Arborist, Dave Conser, and see how he can help Pacha and friends to plant a billion trees.
