Children at the Pineridge after-school program in Gainesville, Florida did their part. They read Pacha’s Pajamas, learned about the trees in their neighborhood with Project Learning Tree, and planted four trees with help from the City Arborist.

At age 9, Felix Finkbeiner inspired kids to plant a million trees in Germany.
