“What happened when you got to the Campground?” Willow asked during dinner.

“That can wait until next time,” Sage replied. “Right now, we’re here with your Mom and Dad. Let’s ask them what they remember.

“What are you remembering?” asked Joe.

“The first Gardens of Global Unity,” answered Reed.

“In 2019,” added Willow.

“When we brought the Road to 2020 to Florida,” continued Amma Sage.

“Well, I don’t remember the very beginning, because I didn’t even know it was happening.”

“How could that be?” Willow asked her father in surprise. Wasn’t Amma Sage living with you then?”

“Well, she had her own little world in the travel trailer in the back yard. I guess your uncles and I were busy just being kids in our own little world. We weren’t even there that September for the 11 Days of Global Unity. We only heard about it when ____.”
(before, during or after 11 Days? — that’s up to my daughters and their families.)

“We already know about the World School,” said Reed. “I’d rather hear about the Campground. Was there a campfire?”

“Of course, silly,” said Willow, finishing the last of her black beans and rice. “Let’s clean up so we can hear some more.”

“If you’re up for it, Amma Sage,” said Joe.

“I wouldn’t miss it for the world!” said Sage. Even at 103, she was always up for a good story.
