Organizing the Climate Collaboratory, a pilot project of We, the World and a growing network of Climate Collaborators

  • Sept-Dec – We’re on the Road to 2030, 2050 and Beyond, telling personal stories of Who is doing What to make a world that works for all living things.
  • Everyone has significant moments in their own life journey that may be helpful to young changemakers.  (See Sue Blythe’s Moments)
  • Our Roving Reporters will interview as many as possible before Earth Day 2023.  Their stories are posted on the website.
  • Each Climate Collaborator devises a 2-3 minute trailer with their own content, music, and call to action (with help of Sue Blythe and production team)
  • Jan-Feb 2022 – Martin Luther King’s World House – play the Global Goals Treasure Hunt (matching people with UN Sustainable Development Goals)
  • Mar-Apr 2023 – Earth Month – children and youth develop short- and long-term action plans with local and global networks of support.
  • April 2023 – Star Center Theatre presents “Climate Collaboratory! The Musical” at the 2023 Global NatureFest in several venues.
    • The performance at Star Center Theatre is a fund-raiser and invitation to other venues.
    • At Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, at least 100 local organizations have booths to share tools and resources for a world that works for all.  They showcase connections with global partners.
    • At the Florida Museum, the “Climate Collaboratory” traveling exhibit begins its tour of Florida, measuring the climate in homes, schools and communities throughout the state.  As it tours different counties, more and more people join the movement for a world that works for all living things.
